	1.	Why is FutureAccounting given free? To help small and medium companies reduce operating costs.
	2.	Will your company charge us for upgrades in the future? NO. The software and upgrades will be free forever.
	3.	What is so special about FutureAccounting? It makes you more popular and gets you more girlfriends/boyfriends.
	4.	How to backup my accounting data? Copy the entire accounts folder to another hard disk or removable media like CD-Writer.
	5.	Why FutureAccounting needs WINE for Linux? Isn't it a Linux program? Unfortunately FutureAccounting is still a native Windows program but it has been reworked and tested extensively to work with WINE and Wine Libraries flawlessly.

Frequently Asked Questions – Installation
	1.	Can FutureAccounting run on SUSE (or any other) Linux? FutureAccounting is extensively tested on RedHat 9 and above, Ubuntu 6.06 and above, Fedora Core 4 and above. It should also run on most other Linux Distributions. (Latest WINE is required and recommended)
	2.	Can FutureAccounting run on Windows? Yes. It can run on Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
	3.	Can I run on both Windows and Linux at the same time? Yes.
	4.	What is the hardware requirements to run FutureAccounting? PC with 1GHz and above processor, 256MB RAM and 10GB hard disk. Older PCs would probably also work, but you need more patience.
	5.	Do I need to install Oracle, SQL Server or any other Database Programs to use FutureAccounting? No.
	6.	How to I uninstall FutureAccounting? Just delete the program and the folder which contains the databases.
	7.	How do I upgrade FutureAccounting? Just overwrite the old program with the new downloaded program and follow the readme instructions. (if any)

Frequently Asked Questions – User Interface
	1.	Why FutureAccounting don't have nice icons like MYOB (or any other Windows Accounting )? FutureAccounting's philosophy is leaning towards efficiency and usability, not niceties.
	2.	I need a new report that is currently not available in FutureAccounting. Who can I speak to? Draw out a sample of how the report should look like and email to enquire@fd.com.my to request for a quote.
	3.	Why are there no graphs or charts in FutureAccounting? To create nice graphs or charts, copy contents of any summary report and paste into OpenOffice Calc. Then create your graphs or charts from there.

Frequently Asked Questions – Accounting
	1.	What pattern do I need to use for accounts numbers? FutureAccounting will accept any account number you key in. It does not have to be of a certain pattern.
	2.	If I already have an existing accounting software, what's the best way to migrate to FutureAccounting? Get the current balances of all debtors and creditors and key in to FutureAccounting as opening balances. Also do that for Asset and Liability General Ledger accounts.
	3.	I need a customised report or feature that is currently not available in FutureAccounting. What can I do? Are you sure it is not there? If you are very sure, send email to support@fd.com.my to ask about paid customizations.
