Future
Accounting was originally created by William Chan in
1995. Unlike most Accounting Software which was
DOS based at that time, FutureAccounting was
created for the Microsoft Windows graphical environment,
specifically Windows 3.11. Because it was built
with Windows in mind, its user friendliness and intuitiveness
are second to none.
FutureAccounting is
created by a 5th Generation Artificial Intelligence (AI)
language called Prolog, therefore it's the most powerful and
flexible accounting software in the
industry.
Throughout the years, the software
was passionately matured and polished by many programmers
and users alike. Future Accounting did not copy any
features or user interface from other accounting software.
Future Accounting was created based on user input and
from our programmers well analyzed computational
feasibility.
Starting from year 2005 onwards,
FutureAccounting has been modified and extensively
tested with Linux and WINE libraries to run flawlessly in both
Windows and Linux or in mixed environments.
In
July 2006, Future Accounting is open-sourced and can now
be downloaded for free from the
Internet. Development and improvement are still
continuing at a feverish pace to make this The
accounting software for the future.
