After this experience, and reading about car thefts and hijackings occuring almost daily, he decided to really do something about it. That's how the nationwide Campaign for Car Safety is initiated.

His company Future Dynasty Sdn Bhd has decided to give away for free (f.o.c) the Made in USA iCar Immobiliser system to any Malaysian whose car had been stolen before.

According to William Chan, many immobilisers that comes standard with in new car claims to be Anti-Hijack, yet shares the same key as the car key and wrongly prevents the car from being started. That cannot help against hijackings because the victim is forced to pass the car key to the hijackers.

To be effective, a good system must have a separate touch key that the victim can hide from the hijackers, and the car must be allowed to be started and driven away before the engine dies a few minutes later. The iCar Immobiliser system utilises a sophisticated and secure touch key, and is specially made to be Anti-Theft, Anti-Hijack and Anti-Tow. It is very reliable and can be fitted to any car on road. It doesn't use radio waves which can be prone to interferences. They claim to have allocated funds of more than RM 600,000.00 to ensure the success of this campaign.

To get the system installed for free, a car owner needs needs to show a copy of the police report. Otherwise the usual price will be RM680. One police report can only be used for one car. Installation can be done at any of the company's appointed dealers and car accessory shops. Car owners only need to pay the installation fee of RM80 usually charged by installers. There is no monthly or yearly charges. Owners will not be asked to purchase additional items.

In addition, to show the company's confidence in the product, Future Dynasty Sdn Bhd promises to subsidise 5% of the insurance premium (after NCB discount) every year for any car that has the iCar Immobiliser installed. However, to qualify for the rebate, the insurance must be purchased from any one of their appointed insurance agents.
